We have received an invite from Steve Cropper , Liverpool Area for a Sunday run out on the 30th October to Mouldsworth Motor Museum. Meeting point is the Derby Arms, Knowlesley Village, drive out for lunch, then the museum in the afternoon.
Steve's email says:
If you have never been, Mouldsworth is a delightful small collection of about 50 vehicles, housed in a former pumping station near Mouldsworth village in Cheshire. Apart from some historically significant cars it also houses a large collection of automobilia and automotive art. See;http://www.mouldsworthmotormuseum.com/.

The village also has an excellent pub, the Goshawk, where we could go first for an early lunch:

James will do us a guided tour, and provide a tea urn if we bring the makings (this avoids him having to negotiate tiresome legislation)for £5 a head all in, which seems very fair in this day and age. The old Mersey Area visited the museum many years ago, and it was an enjoyable afternoon out for all of us with a true enthusiast (when I spoke to him James had just returned from trialling an Austin 7 in Nottinghamshire).

This would make a nice late-season opportunity to exercise our cars on some nice roads, and the museum has plenty of off-road parking
